Before committing to the contract with Allied Flooring, I did get a few comparative quotes. Home Depot, unfortunately, required 100% of the payment up-front. As expected, big-store policies are inflexible and impersonal. It’s policies like these, as well as their overly-restrictive pricing structures, that left a bad taste in my mouth. Immediately, after stepping into Allied Flooring’s show room, I felt like I was going to get the proper attention and service, all the way through to the completion of the project and into the warranty period.

All about providing excellent customer service

In February 2007, my husband Brad and I were referred to Allied Flooring from our contractor Kevin Meng. Upon our very first visit, we realized that Gihan Salgado was all about providing excellent customer service. He promptly greeted us at the door and showed us a variety of ceramic tile that we were interested in. His approach was always genuine, sincere and never pushy. After careful consideration, we chose our favourite tile and proceeded to make arrangements for installation. The installer was very precise and diligent.
