Walk-in tiled shower with poured floor

This was a residential, new construction where the en-suite bathroom consisted of a very large washroom with a tub and large walk in shower.

The shower was completely tiled in 13” x 13” porcelain tiles, including the shower walls and ceiling. The floor was a particular challenge because sloping a shower floor with a large tile is not easy (most shower floors have a matching mosaic or smaller tile to aid the water flow). Note the slope in the last row of tile at floor level to ensure water flowed in to the shower drain.
