This was a challenging installation in a high rise condominium. The original hardwood had been installed over cork underlayment in a double glue down installation. There was some damage to the original hardwood. However the removal of the original hardwood was not an option. The new floor had to be installed over the existing glued hardwood floor. The floating interlocking hardwood was the best solution and our recommended option. The installation went extremely well and the result exceeded the customers expectations.

Allied Flooring removed the existing staircase (which was boxed, closed and carpeted) and replaced it with a completely–new, open staircase leading to the second level. We also replaced the staircase leading to the basement.
