Carpeted Stairs, Bullnose Step and Hardwood Hallway

This installation of carpet on the stairs to the second level in a new home shows the skill of the installer — it’s not easy to carpet bullnose steps and between the spindles on a staircase, but it looks very good when it’s finished!

A hardwood floor in the entranceway was also installed.

This was a custom–built new home. The designer was very bold in her choosing of colour, texture and floor material, which resulted in a unique home.

In this installation, we installed a pre-finished, dark–stained hard maple floor. This major renovation included removing all the carpet and under-pad, installing hardwood on the entire main floor of the home, and re-constructing the small staircase between the entrance and the main floor with the hardwood. The hardwood was made from 3¼–inch planks.

Porcelain Tile and Maple Hardwood Entrance and Dining Room

This was a challenging design on a main floor which had hardwood throughout. We had to create a tiled feature at the main entrance for visitors to step on to from the outside to remove their shoes and boots, yet have enough walk-through on hardwood from the dining room to the living area.
